Wayfarer is an insurance broker who writes home, auto, tenant, condo & business insurance (large or small). We are the largest broker in Alberta who specializes in writing insurance for collector vehicles that are stock or modified like hot rods. Wayfarer has a passion for race cars and we insure them too. In 2020, Wayfarer is introducing their RV & Trailer insurance program for Alberta.

What inspired you to start your business?
All of us at Wayfarer Insurance Group have a desire to help our client's protect what is precious to them. We help our client's find solutions for their insurance needs such as finding the right coverage if you work from home, if you are a driver for food delivery or you are starting your own business.
We have over a 100 years of experience between the brokers in Edmonton and Calgary for our client's to tap into and find solutions. With the non-stop changes that occur within the insurance industry it is important that our client's have the most current information so they can make informed choices about their insurance.
One interesting or fun fact about you or your business.
Wayfarer Insurance is a huge supporter of many collector car clubs in Alberta and we attend many car shows throughout the year. We love collector cars so much that our Edmonton team drives 78 Ford F150 and the Calgary team has a 67 Pontiac Safari Wagon during the summer.
Biggest lesson you’ve learned since starting your business.
When growing a business, you can become so focused on the evolution of the business that you forget to share and enjoy the journey. Your team(s) want to be a part of the journey and want to share the good & challenging times with you.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
The Wayfarer teams have a variety of things they enjoy like spending time with family, cycling, volunteering, reading, traveling and the list goes on.

The vibe at URBN Cowork is Awesome! The variety of businesses, the diversity of the people, the modern facility and its location all contribute to a Fantastic work environment.
How would you describe coworking to somebody?
It is a great Community and as you get to know others in the Community it starts to feel like home. You don't always get this just working from home or being in a high rise office building.
