Consider me your personal mortgage shopper! Finding you the right mortgage, means taking the time to understand your situation and your home ownership goals. I pride myself on providing all of my clients with professional, unbiased advice and lots of education along the way so your home financing transaction is as stress-free as possible. With access to a large variety of different lending options, I can ensure the best mortgage solution for your particular situation - after all, I don't work for the banks, I work for you.
What inspired you to start your business?
You could say being a mortgage broker is in my blood! Mortgage Design Group is a family business and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be able to work alongside my family in a career I truly enjoy. The best part of being a mortgage broker is creating lasting relationships with each one of my clients as I work to understand each one of their unique situations and home ownership goals. My flexible schedule and ability to work remotely allows me to not only connect with my clients at their convenience, but also gives me the opportunity to pursue my goals as a competitive curling athlete.
One interesting or fun fact about you or your business.
I am a University of Alberta Varsity Alumni. I competed for the Panda's curling team from 2013-2016 - winning 2 CIS national silver medals, 2 CIS national gold medals, and a World Winter Universiade gold medal.
Biggest lesson you’ve learned since starting your business.
Never underestimate the power of good communication. Being able to explain things clearly and set firm expectations up front, helps avoid misunderstandings and prevents almost any problem.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Most of my free time is spent curling! When I'm not training or competing, I love playing board games, skiing, and being outside with my dog.
Favorite thing about coworking:
The space itself is amazing. It's the perfect mix of a professional atmosphere, with a modern design that makes you feel both productive and comfortable all at once.
How would you describe coworking to somebody?
Coworking provides you with more than just an office space. You have the opportunity to work however and whenever you like, have as much social interaction as you need, and connect with a network of professional peers.
